Please note: We do not experience delays in our skydiving operation because of the Pitt Meadows Airport Control Tower. All skydiving aircraft must communicate with Nav Canada air traffic controllers to fly and drop skydivers whether they skydive from a regional airport or private airfield.

Can I bring people to watch?

Yes! Family and friends are welcome. We have a large spectator area adjacent to the landing area. Please let your spectators know that pets should be left at home. No dogs allowed - Thanks!

Do I need to make a reservation?

Same day reservations are welcome. Advance reservations are recommended for groups.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or change a reservation up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment without charge.

If you have bad weather at your reservation time we are happy to cancel the booking or re-schedule with no booking fee. To receive the no charge bad weather cancellation you must call the office 1 hour before your reservation time to see if the weather permits skydiving. Same day cancellations (not due to weather) and no-shows will be charged a $50.00/person cancellation fee.

What can I expect when I come to skydive?

When you make a reservation we book your sign-in time - not the time you jump. Allow 1.5 hours - 3 hours to complete your skydive from the time you sign-in. A weekday will take less time than a busy weekend. Here is how your time with us will look:

+ Arrive at sign-in time, read and sign our Waiver of Liability. If you haven't pre-booked video or want to add still photos of your skydive, please let us know now.

+ Pay for your skydive.

+ Watch the training video.

+ Meet the training instructor (s). They will take you through a mock-up of the skydive including seating in the plane, your body position for exit, freefall, opening & landing. All actions you need to make on the skydive are practiced on the ground first. Do not hesitate to ask questions!

+ Put your personal possessions in one of our free, student lockers. They are large enough to accommodate one normal- size backpack.

+ You will be assigned an instructor (and cameraman if you booked one) plus the load # of the plane you will skydive from.

+ Your instructor will take you to the "gear-up" area where you will put on a jumpsuit & find a proper size helmet and goggles for your skydive.

+ Once dressed, your instructor will have you step into the harness and it will be custom fitted to your body.

+ Your instructor will safety check his Tandem skydiving gear and gear-up himself.

+ You will meet your cameraman after you are geared up and ready for the plane. Smile and relax - this video is all about YOU!

+ It is a short walk from the gear-up hanger to where your plane will be waiting for you to board. Stay close to your instructor so you get onto the plane with him and your cameraman.

+ Once everyone is on-board the plane will take you to jump altitude. Remember to look out the window as our flight includes views from Vancouver to the Fraser Valley. Your instructor will review the exit and skydive with you, then "hook-you-up" so you are ready to skydive.

+ Once the green light goes on signifying the plane is over the "drop zone" the door is opened and jumpers and tandems start an orderly exit from the plane. You exit one tandem pair at a time so you have your own airspace for your freefall.

+ Remember to look out, not down. Your cameraman is flying directly in front of you!

+ The instructor will open the main parachute approx. 50 seconds after you leave the plane. Catch your breathe, chat with the instructor and review the landing procedure.

+ It is important to listen to your instructor as you prepare to land. Most instructors will plan the landing so you slide in on your bottom with your legs out of the way.

+ Once the parachute has settled onto the ground you will be un-hooked & your cameraman will video your "post jump" reactions. Congratulations - you have made your first skydive!

+ Please proceed back to the student hanger so we may assist you with the removal of your harness. Your First Jump certificate is ready to be picked up at the office.

+ Your video and stills will be edited after your skydive. If you do not wish to wait please go to the office and fill out a mailing envelope - they will be sent by mail.

+ Want to jump again? We have discounts and information available for returning students.

What is skydiving weather?

For a Tandem freefall the weather has to be good; clear sky, broken clouds or at least 10,000 feet to the cloud base. We want you to get your maximum freefall time! We recommend you call the office the day of your skydive if you have any doubts or questions about the weather.

What should I wear?

Lace-up shoes (running shoes/no hiking boots please) and comfortable clothing. Tight jeans are not recommended. We provide a helmet, jumpsuit and goggles to make your skydive. Please let your instructor know if you wear contact lenses so you receive the proper pair of goggles. We have special goggles to go over glasses.

Why are there a weight restrictions?

Skydiving equipment is tested by the manufacturer and rated for a recommended weight and speed at which it may be safely operated.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Interac (direct debit) and cash.

What else should I know?
